Cuttings

An installation with performances

Cuttings is an installation with performances exploring divergent approaches to sculpture and sound by five artists and musicians. Works include a massive latex sound sculpture by Natasha Anderson; rosewood resonant percussive sculptures by Rosemary Joy; an installation and event using hand-made paper forms and wind by Sarah Pirrie; automated kinetic sound sculptures using motors, polystyrene, re-appropriated technology created and performed by Dale Gorfinkel and a percussive soundscape of found objects and ice made and performed by Vanessa Tomlinson.

There was a series of performances throughout the gallery over the two weekends
