Artefact Film Screenings

A funeral for obsolete technology.

Following Artefact's debut at ANTI Festival in Kuopio, Finland (2016) Aphids presents a screening of the work, debuting in film form as part of ACMI's ART + FILM program. The work is also being screened in Kuopio through ANTI Festival.

ART+FILM showcases films by leading Australian and international artists, with a focus on single-channel works that harness the unique conventions of cinema.

The Artefact film has been created by collaborators Willoh S.Weiland and JR Brennan with Finnish editor Kim Saarinen and is a testament to long distance collaboration.
