Alison Halit: International Producer
Alison is an experienced international producer who works for a portfolio of artists including Aphids. She seeks to develop Aphids opportunities through residencies, co productions, exchanges and tours. Since commencing late 2013, Alison has overseen Aphids Flyway tours to Operdagen (Rotterdam) and the International Theatre Festival Varna Summer 2014 and secured the NOA Festival (Vilnius) tour 2015. She has also represented Aphids at APAM, IETM, CINARS and in New York.
Alison has toured work to The Netherlands, Norway, UK & Wales, Slovenia, Denmark, Ireland, Portugal, France, Canada and the United States to festivals and venues such as: Aarhus Festival, Noorderzon Festival (Groningen), The National Theatre Studio (London), Dublin Fringe Festival & Project Arts Centre (Dublin), Zuppa Theatre (Halifax), PS 122 – COIL Festival & The Chocolate Factory (New York), Chapter Arts Centre (Cardiff), Culturgest (Lisbon), Teatro Nacional Sao Joan (Porto), BIT Teatergarasjen - Oktoberdans & Meteor Festivals (Bergen), Regional Arena for Samtidsdans (Sandnes), TBA Festival (Portland), Théâtre de Vanves' Festival Artdanthé, Rencontres Chorégraphiques Seine St Denis 2015 & Parc de la Villette (Paris), Komm'n'act' Festival Paralléle & Montevideo (Marseille) and The Substation (Singapore).
Alison has produced collaborations between artists from South America, the UK, Australia, The United States, Asia and France including IETM/Australia Council Collaboration Projects between Ranters (Australia) & Mladinsko Theatre (Slovenia), and Luke George (Australia), Miguel Gutierrez (USA), Heine Avdal (Belgium), Yukiko Shinozaki (Japan) at BIT Teatergarasjen (Norway). She is currently producing Luke George’s co-creations with Daniel Kok (Singapore) and David Wampach (France) in collaboration with project partners in Australia and in other parts of the world.
