RESILIENCE ROUNDTABLES FINDINGS

In August, we hosted a roundtable discussion at Collingwood Yards exploring the question:

How do we continue to create and connect in the face of exhaustion, precarity, and change?

Participants joined small-group conversations led by local organisations and independent artists, with an emphasis on collaboration and mutual support. Writer Grace Macpherson attended to document the day, capturing talks by Erica Macalman and Lara Thoms, performances by Emily Parsons-Lord, Sammaneh Pourshafighi, and Nisha Madhan, as well as summaries from each table chat.

We’re excited to share the result of that documentation with you—including some radical ideas for what can change—in a neatly crafted PDF.

Resilience Roundtables was presented by APHIDS and proudly supported by the City of Yarra and Collingwood Yards.

You can read the findings here.

APHIDS acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Boon wurrung peoples on whose lands we live and work. Sovereignty was never ceded and we pay our respect to past, present, and future Aboriginal elders and community, and to their long and rich history of artmaking on this Country.
