MELBOURNE DOCUMENTARY FILM FESTIVAL

DEAD PARENTS CLUB PREMIERE

APHIDS proudly debuts our first feature-length documentary, Dead Parents Club at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival this July.

Dead Parents Club follows Melbourne locals attempting to become famous orphan characters like Simba, Little Orphan Annie, and Frodo Baggins. Blurring documentary, performance, and cultural interrogation, the film collides pop culture with private grief. Experience a profound search for the strange comfort of becoming fictional together.

Join us at Cinema Nova for this premiere screening.
