Resilience Roundtables

ARTISTS! ARTS WORKERS!

How do we continue to create and connect in the face of exhaustion, precarity, and change?

Small orgs and Independents working in performance unite to find out where we are at, how we can support each other and how we might rethink our industry.

Who should come?

Artists or arts workers working in performance, dance, theatre or interdisciplinary forms. Emerging and established welcome. Yarra based artists encouraged.

This is a free event but numbers are limited to allow all participants to contribute.

What’s involved?

All participants will be encouraged to contribute to small group discussions led by local orgs and independent artists, with a focus on collaboration and support. There will also be the chance for informal connecting over a catered lunch, tea and coffee.

Peppered throughout the day will be four artists’ contributions that translate the project’s themes into performative, participatory or experiential forms.

Presenting Artists: Emily Parsons-Lord, Nisha Madden, Sammaneh Pourshafighi and Julia Croft.

Participating orgs: APHIDS, Auspicious Arts, Collingwood Yards, Dancehouse, ILBIJERRI, Performance Review, Temperance Hall + more!

Resilience Roundtables is presented by APHIDS and Collingwood Yards and proudly supported by the City of Yarra.
