SPOOKY ACTION AT A DISTANCE
Spooky Action at a Distance is live artwork incorporating elements of installation, re-enactment and live video. It was created and performed as part of the Schwindelfrei Festival, a live art festival that commissions German and international artists to create a new work during an intensive residency period.
Inspired by the female NASA employees who were trained but never allowed to fly the Apollo missions, Spooky Action at a Distance used as its starting point moments in history that could have been vastly different if only we’d allowed them to be true. If women had gone to the moon, if Google really wasn’t evil, if Hillary Clinton really did sleep with Yoko Ono, what would the future look like?
