Arts House and Going Nowhere present

Willoh S. Weiland…takes up the challenge with welcome irreverence. With collaborators Julian Crotti and Fritz Hauser, The Second Before imagines the last supper with a high camp spiritual leader (played by Crotti) as our underworld guide. His “crazy angels” are encouraged to project their earthly farewells with thespian zeal, rewarded with donuts and champagne under the soft glow of phallic candelabras. ” Sydney Morning Herald

Built from a palette of online collaborative performances developed over time, The Second Before explores multiple possibilities for Armageddon.

Including food to eat, audio and video installation, The Second Before is a Last Supper consumed in the moments before the final catastrophe. What do we feel, what do we do, in those last few seconds before ‘The End’?
