Aphids Last Night Now workshops use video goggles matched to live performance to create video artwork for all of your senses.
Aphids artists work with participants to direct, record, rehearse and present their own ‘smell-o-vision’ project. Participants have the opportunity to use video goggles, head mounted cameras, editing software and sensory props.
This workshop offers people of all skill levels a chance to create an immersive video artwork like no other.
Last Night Now workshops are customised to the needs of the group and can be delivered as a short, sharp taster; one or two day intensives; or deeper, extended models that engage participants through a critical and rigorous exploration of the form, the process and the presentation.
Workshops are tailored to young people (11 years and up) or adults.
Previous workshops have been delivered at Thornbury State High School, RMIT University and Signal.
